What is your favorite decorating style?
I love the combination of Swedish and French Vintage.
Where do you get your decorating influence from the most?
I have been influenced through travel...I lived in South Africa and have spent several months in Europe. I am inspired by beauty that is found in the simple things...a bowl of lemons from my neighbors tree or lavender bouquets from my garden. Jeanne d' Arc Living magazine is the best!
In 5 words or less, your home is?
Inviting, Simple, Cozy, Peaceful, Charming
What is your favorite store or flea market to shop at?
I like to shop locally and love Jennifer at Hoot n' Anny in Westlake Village...I'm always inspired by her creativity with the unusual. Vintage Garden's in Woodland Hills is another treasure that I find myself seeking. I like the quaintness and vendors at the Topanga Flea market also in Woodland Hills.
Share one of your favorite decorating tricks or ideas:
The first thing I did to update this rental home was to cover the Levelor's with painters drop cloth, put them on rings with clips and voila we have beautiful custom draperies. Drop cloth is also great for covering old couches...the more it's washed the softer it gets.
Your favorite paint color, name and brand:
Benjamin Moore White Dove for trim and bathrooms and Farrow and Ball, Slipper Satin and Charleston Gray.
What are your favorite things to collect right now?
My favorite things to collect have always been linens, napkins, pillowcases, table cloths, and sheets. I am also crazy for pretty dishes and silver trays.
What is your favorite room in your house, and why?
My bedroom. Its fresh and light. It's mostly all white with comfy places to pray and sip tea.
