Where is your home located, and how long have you lived there?
In a teeny town just north of Gettysburg, PA. We’ve lived here for a little over six years.
What is your favorite decorating style?
I am definitely smitten with all things French Country and American Farmhouse.
Where do you get your decorating influence from the most?
Of course I love getting inspiration from other blogs, Pinterest, decorating books and magazines, but I’m most inspired by things and pieces I find. I see something I love and my mind starts to race with where I can use it or how it can look with a little TLC.
In 5 words or less, your home is?
Unique, stylish and family friendly.
What is your favorite store or flea market to shop at?
The Old Lucketts Store in Leesburg, VA is my absolute favorite place to visit if I have some time and money to spend.
Share one of your favorite decorating tricks or ideas:
I love white slipcovers. They are cheap to make, can be washed and bleached if they are stained and they make almost any piece of furniture look great.
Your favorite paint color, name and brand:
My favorite paint for walls is Aura by Benjamin Moore and I love Glass Slipper, which is the pale blue used in my family room.
What are your favorite things to collect right now?
I have collected Ironstone for about 10 years and never get tired of it. I’m specifically looking for sugar jars at the moment. I also look for scales, alarm clocks and cool wire baskets.
What is your favorite room in your house, and why?
I think it’s the family room. It’s pretty, but still very functional for my family.
Your next project is:
I’m in the middle of working on our master bedroom and I have some freelance tutorials coming up that involve new kitchen counters, a custom range hood and marble backsplash.
