Residing in Agoura CA, Cheryl and her family have been in their beautiful home for the past 18 years. It is what she calls a "work in progress" as her home is always evolving. Cheryl's style is a combination of French and Shabby Cottage. Made up of everything she loves, her home is filled with a mix of primitive, painted cottage, and hand painted furniture. As Cheryl says "Everything seems to flow, and it is homey and peaceful, which is surprising, with as much stuff as I have in it."

When it comes to decorating, Cheryl loves vignetes, and there's one in almost every corner of her home. She loves bringing the outside in, so you will never see closed drapes covering her windows. Instead, Cheryl uses sheers or vintage french net lace. 

One thing that impressed me the most when entering Cheryls home is her incredible display of collections. She collects everything from old oil paintings with roses, pansies and birds, old tole, linen and barkcloth, barbola mirrors, old wicker, perfume bottles, old transferware and ironstone, vintage bride & groom cake toppers, millinary flowers, old door stops, cement bird baths, etched mirrors grouped together, white embossed matt pottery vases, and old wicker funeral baskets...and the list can go on!

Cheryl is an antique dealer at the Agoura Antique Mart. As she puts it, "The Agoura Antique Mart is the best place to go antiquing, and the customer service is like no other. I take pride in our store, where I have a large space to sell my merchandise. My inventory changes weekly to keep up the interest." You can also find Cheryl on eBay, under the user name fascinatingfinds.  -JG
