Previously featured in our May issue, Cheryl was kind enough to let us venture back to her home, in Agoura CA, and allow us a first hand look at her simply amazing garden. Graciously filled with hydrangeas, impatiens and roses, there is always something in bloom on Cheryl's large 3/4 acre garden. Being that roses are her favorite, Cheryl's garden impressively boasts over 185 rose bushes, with future plans to add even more pink and white English roses to the collection.
Besides using flowers as the palette of her outdoor decor, Cheryl enjoys using old tole pieces, birdbaths and statuary's to decorate her garden. One of her favorite finds was an old iron 5 piece patio set she discovered years ago at an antique store in Arroyo Grande, CA. Vowing to never part with it, Cheryl uses this set for entertaining, as it comfortably allows for great conversation among friends.
One very unique and special find in Cheryl's garden is a natural creek that runs through her yard. It can be heard from the french doors off of the master bedroom upstairs at night or anytime. In the spring, it is a soft trickle that is so serene. However, in the winter it is a loud roaring sound as the water swiftly runs through. It adds much character to her beautiful garden. You can view Cheryls auctions on eBay, under the user name fascinatingfinds -JG
